Birth Doula Support

Birth is one of the most significant experiences of your life. You deserve someone in that room who knows what they're doing, tells you the truth, and is completely in your corner.

My birth doula package is comprehensive support from pregnancy through your early postpartum days.

Before your birth, we'll meet twice prenatally to go over your birth preferences, talk through what to expect, and make sure you feel genuinely prepared, not just reassured. I'm available by phone and text throughout your pregnancy for questions, anxieties, and the random things that come up at 11pm.

When labor begins, I'm on call for you from 37 weeks. I join you at home or at your birth location when the time is right and stay with you continuously through birth and into your immediate postpartum period. I provide physical comfort support, evidence-based information, and steady presence through every stage of labor, however long it takes.

After your baby arrives, we'll schedule a postpartum follow-up visit to debrief your birth, answer questions, and make sure you're supported in those tender first days.

On Accessibility

Research consistently shows that doula support is associated with shorter labors, lower rates of cesarean birth, and higher satisfaction with the birth experience. I think everyone deserves access to that.

I offer reduced rates for teachers, nurses, graduate students, medical residents, and those who are uninsured or on Medicaid. I also offer a returning client rate and a rate for multiparous clients — meaning this isn't your first birth and you know what you're walking into.

Payment is split into two installments: 50% due upon signing your contract, and 50% due around 36 weeks gestation.

If you fall into one of the categories above, mention it when you reach out.

Liz was a wonderful Doula, the perfect combination of evidence based and supporting my desire to do things as naturally as possible. We were first time parents and she provided us with helpful resources from the very beginning — from recipe books for meal prepping that would help my post-partum recovery, to useful podcasts, and chapters in books that would help my husband be a good partner to me on the journey. She brought a great energy and sense of humor to the experience, and was very good at navigating the different personalities in the labor and delivery room and keep things “light”

We are so happy that we chose Liz as our doula! She helped us feel really well prepared going into labor, and was such a supportive presence in the L&D room. We wanted someone who would help us make the birth experience as comfortable as possible but with a practical, evidence-based approach, and Liz offered us both.

Liz is absolutely amazing and exactly the kind of coach, advocate, cheerleader, and friend that i would wish for every person giving birth.  She was there for me, and my husband, every step of the way.
